In the 7th May and 28th August 2007 decrees, the French Government applied the new European mapping determining the ceiling for government subsidies applicable to a single initiative according to its location, to national law. Norroy-le-Veneur falls within a zone qualifying for "regional subsidies" for the 2007-2013 period resulting in the application of the following ceiling rates:
- Small companies: 35 %
less than 50 employees – annual turnover or balance sheet total less than 100 million €. - Medium-size companies: 25 %
less than 250 employees – turnover of less than 50 million € or annual balance sheet total less than 43 million € - Large companies: 15 %
Provisions for government subsidies have equally been set up for the Lorraine region and the Moselle department
